This article is based on what i’m learning today, from Olga Viktorovna, my neuro lecturer..

She said, the classification of cerebral vascular disease of brain is divided into 2 categories :

- acute

- chronic

ACUTE :

A ) Ischaemic Stroke / Insult ( in Russian )

- Thrombolytic : narrowing of vessel is caused by thrombus / emboli, that may be fat, air, etc .

- Non-thrombolytic : vasospasm appear -> decrease blood supply -> ischaemia

B ) Hemorrhagic Type

- Subarachnoidal Hemorrhage

- Intracerebral Hemorrhage

CHRONIC :

A) Cerebrovascular disease that is develop due to hypertension, artherosclerossi of cerebral vessels, or combination between both two.

B ) Dyscirculatory Encephalopathy  : due to diabetes mellitus, alcoholism encephalopathy, intoxication and etc.

emm, actually, above only the simplified version of what i’ve been thought, for further info, you can google it !
